Meet Marcia
No two journeys are the same. We’re shaped by the stories we live and the ones we long to rewrite. My work integrates traditional talk therapy with body-centred and creative modalities, offering a space where healing becomes an embodied, expressive, and empowering process.
-
My approach to therapy is rooted in curiosity, creativity, and a deep respect for the mystery of life. It continues to evolve, shaped by both the ordinary and the extraordinary and by the experiences that deepen my understanding of myself and others.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Art Therapy, with advanced training in Somatic Experiencing and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
To me, therapy is a profoundly human process, one that invites connection as we explore the mind, body, and spirit. When we enter this space with openness and curiosity, we begin to uncover the deeper layers of our experience. In doing so, we create the possibility for healing, clarity, and a more compassionate relationship with ourselves

Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Online sessions offer the same depth of connection and therapeutic value as in-person work, with added flexibility and convenience. Sessions are held via Jane App, a secure, privacy-compliant video platform designed for healthcare professionals in Canada.
Can I book a consultation first?
I offer complimentary 20-minute phone consultations to help us get a sense of whether we’re a good fit. It’s a chance to ask questions and learn more about how I work.
Do I need to be artistic to do art therapy?
Art therapy is about the process, not the product. It’s a way to explore and express emotions when words aren’t enough. You don’t need to “create something good”; what matters is what arises through the act of creating.
Do you accept insurance?
Most extended health plans in British Columbia cover the services a Registered Clinical Counselor (RCC) provides. If you have coverage, you’ll pay for your session directly and then submit your receipt for reimbursement. I recommend checking with your provider to confirm the details of your plan.
How do I know if this approach is right for me?
If you’re drawn to a therapy process that honors mind and body, allows space for creativity, and invites deep inner listening. A consultation call is a great way to get a feel for how we might work together.
